In 2008, several top sports brands issued a challenge to its manufactures to create something that could be added to the manufacturing process to stop their clothes from smelling of body odour when sweated in.Goldshield’s owner took this challenge to Emory University in Atlanta who reformulated an existing methanol based formulation stabilising it in water. The owner then concentrated the main focus on the more suited application in healthcare.
The resulting residual protection was quickly identified as a potentially life saving technology and was introduced into Medical environments where it has been used to great effect.
The residual technology works like this
Clean Freek's technology forms a covalent bond, which allows it to remain affixed to any hard or soft surface such as textiles, hard surfaces or skin. The surface is then positively charged generated by a nitrogen molecule, which pulls in negatively charged microbes. Through a long chain carbon, this unique assembly penetrates the cytoplasmic membrane physically stabbing the cell releasing ions, denaturing proteins and causing cytoplasm to leak so the cell is then destroyed. This renders the microbe dead and incapable of any adaption.
Clean Freek uses a technology that not only cleans and disinfects any surface but also protects it from microbes that land on the treated surface once it is dry.

How to use SPM24 -
- Get up off the sofa
- Go to your chosen arena
- Ensure application areas are visibly clean.
- Pump one or two applications onto hand or chosen area
- Rub in until thoroughly coated ensuring that area is totally covered (If applying to hands and feet ensure that product is worked in to nails and creases as these areas are often missed and highly susceptible to infection)
- Allow to dry (30 – 60 seconds…)
- Get out there and crush your goals knowing that you are protected for the next 24 hours, Boom!
- Eat, sleep, and recover
- Repeat

All returned items must be unused and in their original condition with garment tags attached. Yoga mats, props and all equipment must be in their original cellophane and/or branded wrapper for returns to be accepted. If any products have been removed from their wrapper, we are unable to accept a return.
Returns for Custom Items -
Unfortunately for all custom and personalised products such as Yoga Mats, Bricks & Blocks we don't offer a refund unless the their is a fault with the product.

Shipping for Custom Items -
All custom and personalised items take between 12-13 working days from when the order and vectored artwork has been received. If you choose to have next day delivery on a custom product then this will be sent using the next day service after the 12 working days for production.
